At ASFA we understand the discipline required for dance training and are delighted to share the joy and beauty of the art form with our students.
Our faculty is fully committed to a high level of dance education and our facilities are ideal for the students’ dance development.
TUITION
It is important to maintain timely tuition payments for each student so that there is no interruption with his or her dance education. Tuition payments are due the first week of each month. Payments received after the 10th of each month will incur a $5.00 late fee.
There is an annual registration fee of $30.00

DRESS CODE
Appropriate attire is required for students to participate in dance class. It allows the instructor to make accurate corrections in body placement and alignment. It is an integral part of a dancer’s discipline and allows the students to focus on their technique work without distractions.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
Hair must be pulled back into a neat bun and secured with hair pins for ballet, or in a tight ponytail for all other classes. Hair must be kept off of student’s face and neck. Short hair needs to be fastened away from face as well.
Shoes should be properly fitted and safe to dance in.
No jewelry, nail polish, or gum is permitted in class.
Every student must have their belongings properly labeled with their names. (ballet slippers, skirts, tap shoes, etc.)
Students and/or parents must be responsible for the necessary supplies to have hair done before class time.
DRESS CODE BY CLASS
•Ballet: Black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers.
•Modern: Black leotard, black convertible tights, bare feet.
•Jazz: Black leotard, black or pink tights, jazz shoes or ballet slippers.
•Tap: Black leotard, black or pink tights, tap shoes.
•Hip Hop: Form fitting top, comfortable pants, sneakers (preferably white).
OBSERVATION CLASSES
At ASFA we understand the importance of sharing the students’ progress with their parents. Observation Classes allow parents to better understand their children’s dance learning and become a part of it. Only parents will be allowed inside the classroom for observation.
Levels 1-3
For our youngest dancers we hold 5 minutes in-class observations at the end of each month; as well as one full class observation in December.
Levels 4 -5
For our higher levels we hold one full class observation for parents in December.
